Litchfields National Park

01/08

On our way to Darwin, many travelers told us about Litchfields National Park. We decided to stop there for one night, 300km from Darwin. We were absolutely not disappointed. This National Park, though smaller, provided gorgeous scenic spots comparable to Karijini National Park, in Pilbara region. Waterfalls, pools, rivers and… free camping. All facilities (showers, kitchen, common areas…) were provided for a decent caravan park, but for free. The park was clean and well maintained. We strongly recommend it to all travelers heading to Darwin.
